Thomas Jefferson was the second in my four President Virginia trip. He is buried about a 1/4 of a mile from his house. President Jefferson is just outside of Charlottesville, Va. To get to the house you have to go to the second stop light once you get off of 64 and take a left. If you go right at the first stop light you will go to a museum. The Presidents family is still using the cemetery that the President is buried in. I think the most recent grave in there was dated in the 1980's or 1990's. President Jefferson's wife is buried next to him. I wasn't sure where she was buried at but there is a chart that shows you who is buried where and how they were related to him.
